2023 - 2024

"Hi I'm Brandon, that's Joey, we're branjoe, and this is my banjo."

Joey and I started writing bluegrass and folk songs during the summer of 2023 and by the fall we had written five original songs that told stories of heartbreak, traveling, elusive wizards, and more. Along the way we found arrangements with guitar, banjo, harmonica, ukulele, cajon, and our rugged harmonies. Ask us to play our hit single, Gilmore.

Update: Joey's in medical school now, but branjoe persists in our hearts.

MVVN

2022 - 2023

Ya like disco? My good friends from the deCasa days started their own project called MVVN (pronounced Moon). We started playing in January 2022 and played a slew of shows around Texas including Austin, Denton, Laredo, and more! The music is a blast to play: high energy wall to wall dancing fun!

Update: Though I'm no longer playing with them, they're still playing shows and releasing music. Links Below!

Animal Teeth

2021

Rock and Roll, man! Cover band of classic hard rock bands like ACDC, Guns N' Roses, and Motley Crue. I only got to play with them for my last semester of grad school, and I'm still not tired of playing Sweet Child O' Mine.

deCasa

2018-2019

Drumming for Luis (deCasa) was a wild ride of a grind for the love of music. It was the first band I was in that played original music, and I loved learning how to put on a show, whether it be in a living room or at venues like Hole in the Wall or The Mohawk. Unfortunately, I had to drop out to focus on my senior year of college, as we started getting too many gigs!

Update: After this project was put on the backburner for a few years, Luis is back to releasing new music and playing shows around Texas. Links Below!

Pants Not Trousers

2018 - 2022

Johnny, Evan, and Brandon came together in the summer of 2018 with the goal of playing a full length concert as an actual band, each for the first time as musicians. After great success at this debut, the band mysteriously disappeared for almost three years, until in 2021 they reunited for a secret house show playing both a mix of covers and unreleased originals. Still finding their sound, they hope to expand their selection of originals and refine their chemistry as a group to put on kickass performances for years to come.

Update: Sometimes great things must come to an end, but we get to keep amazing memories.
